SECOND ALARM HOUSE FIRE
Date: 6/15/07 An early morning house fire put Engine 11, Truck 6, and Batt. 4 to work early Friday morning. As units were responding OUC advised of multiple calls of a house on fire in the rear of 2701 Connectiecut Ave NW in the Woodly Park neighborhood. Engine 21 (Adams Morgan) took the rear postion and advised of fire showing from a two story row house. Engine 11 picked up Engine 28's (Woodley Park) supply line and ran their own 350 ft ,1 1/2 attack line into the structure and assisted with knocking down the fire on the second floor. Truck 6 took the second due truck postion in the rear and assisted with ventilation and opening up along with overhaul.

ENGINE & TRUCK TAKE IN APARTMENT FIRE
AT 1845 HARVARD ST NW
Date: 6/13/07 At 0100 hrs Engine 11 and Truck 6 were dispatched for apartment fie at Harvard Towers. Engine 11 arrived and took 2nd due position in the rear reporting smoke conditions on the 6th floor. As the truck arrived on side "A" smoke was visable from the 5th floor. In a matter of minutes the fire brook out the front windows while units were stretching lines, venting and assisting with evacuation. A second alarm was sounded to assist with rescue and ventilation. The fire was held to the apartment of origin.

BASEMENT FIRE ON PARKWOOD PL
Date: 6/6/07 While Engine 11 was at the shop units were dispatched to the 1300 blk of Parkwood Pl NW for the house. Truck 6 arrived on scene and reported a working basement fire. The Truck was able to hold the fire in check with water cans while awaiting an engine company, most 4th Batt. engine companies were elsewhere. Units cleared shortly there after.
