| HICKORY, DICKORY, DOCK...THE DICEMAN'S IN THE BLOCK

Members of #4 Platoon were treated to a visit from "The Diceman", Andrew Dice Clay, on March 9. The Dice was in town to promote his new television show on VH1, and wanted to take some time to visit with the boys. Turns out the Diceman is the second cousin of FF Tippen (T-6-4), and a volunteer fireman in Hoboken, NJ. Dice thrilled the shift with cigarette smoking techniques, a few poems, and even showed the boys a few things about tillering. F*ckin' A!!!

Just after 1 a.m., units were alerted to the apartment fire at 2100 19th St NW in the Adams Morgan neighborhood. First arriving companies encountered heavy fire conditions in a 2nd floor apartment. Engine 11 was assigned to assist in the rescue section while Truck 6 assisted with rescue, forced entry, venilation, and overhaul. Picture courtesy of DCFD.com.
