At 0551 hours, Engine 11 (4th due), Truck 6 (2nd due), and Battalion 4 were alerted to 823 Somerset Place NW for the house. Engine 22 marked on scene with fire showing from the second floor of two-story dwelling. Engine 11 arrived, stretched the 350' line, and checked exposures. Truck 6 threw multiple ground ladders on side C, assisted with ventilation, and secured the utilities. The fire was quickly knocked down and Battalion 4 held 1 and 2 to overhaul and assist with investigations.
